What it's like working with me

S. Donaldson

Sarah is a wealth of knowledge and was so helpful when I reached out for support with potty training our 2-year-old. I was very grateful for her reassurance and guidance, which gave me the confidence I needed when we were struggling. Now, thanks to Sarah's help, there are no more nappies! If you're considering reaching out for support, do it—you won't regret it. Thank you again, Sarah!

We contacted Sarah after struggling with our 10-month-old’s split nights, nap battles, and early waking. We didn’t expect a quick fix, but within just two nights, she was sleeping 11 hours. Naps improved, and bedtime became peaceful. Sarah’s gentle approach gave us confidence as parents, and our baby is happier and more independent. Thank you, Sarah!

A. Cassin

Sarah is pragmatic, gentle, and clear. Her tailored advice changed our son's sleep within a week. The support was grounded in kindness and knowledge, and her guidance was simple and easy to follow. When you're sleep-deprived, it's hard to think clearly, but Sarah’s approach made all the difference.

Sarah was a fountain of knowledge and so supportive throughout our time working together. My 8-month-old's sleep drastically improved while staying true to breastfeeding principles. We went from 10 wake-ups to 2 just by adjusting the schedule—no crying involved. Sarah respected our parenting style and taught us how to balance life and naps on the go. We’re all better rested and living in alignment with our parenting philosophies. Thank you, Sarah!

I can’t recommend Sarah enough. I had been focusing on attachment parenting with my daughter, but as she grew older, her sleep needs changed, and I felt lost and burnt out. After two weeks with Sarah, I understood my baby's sleep needs and encouraged her to sleep more independently while maintaining our parenting style. Our days are so much better, and my daughter benefits from a clear, consistent routine. Thank you, Sarah!

I can’t recommend Sarah enough! She is an amazing sleep coach. We were desperate when we reached out—our 8-month-old was battling naps and bedtime, making life very difficult for us as new parents. With Sarah’s advice, guidance, and understanding, we can now sleep ourselves, and our little boy goes down for naps and bedtime like clockwork without us needing to rock him to sleep. Sarah’s seamless, tailored approach has been a lifesaver. Thanks a million, Sarah!

Get the Clarity You Need

1. Are your sleep strategies compatible with breastfeeding?

YES! I am a huge breastfeeding advocate, having been breastfed myself until I was 18 months old by my wonderful mother, which was not the norm in 1980’s Ireland, almost every member of my family has breastfed their babies, including me breastfeeding my son until he was 2 years and 4 months which also spanned most of my second pregnancy, and my daughter, who is currently 9 months old. Our gentle sleep support techniques are wholly supportive of your continuing breastfeeding journey.

We offer sleep support for new and expectant parents all the way up to 6 years old, and beyond. There are different support options for different ages and stages, please see our sleep support section for more information.

I cannot promise that your child will not cry during any changes that we make, that will depend on their personality and temperament. However, I will never encourage you or suggest to you that you should leave your child to cry alone, for any length of time. Some of the sleep strategies that I use for older babies and toddlers may be met with some resistance from your child, especially if you are implementing a big change to the way they usually go to sleep, or return to sleep, but there is a HUGE difference between being left to cry in a cot/bed on your own in a dark room, and crying in the arms of a loving parent or caregiver who is providing comfort and support throughout any changes.

Once your child has reached the age of 14 months I can offer advice on gently night weaning from breastfeeding, however I can offer support with night waking from birth.

We would expect you to see some improvement within the first week to ten days, however this will depend on each individual child, the range of changes which you are choosing to make and your own consistency with the gentle sleep strategies which we will guide you through.

Depending on the package you choose you will either have up to 6 weeks support included in your plan, or further support can be purchased if you have chosen a standalone package.
