When my son was around 2.5 years old.
We began to listen to some audiobooks together, and then he requested to listen to them when he was going to bed.
He would listen to all sorts of books, and he enjoyed them all, but I noticed one common theme, there were no Irish accents.
Now, with a population of over 5 million people, I am sure I am not the only one who would like their children to listen to some books being read aloud in a local accent, and so an idea was born, I decided I would finally put the years of Speech and Drama classes that I attended as a child to good use, 30 years later!!!
I bought a microphone with some advice from my Sound Engineer Dad, and began to record stories for my son to listen to, and then decided to let other children see and hear them too!
